I didn't say I'd gotten replies from him. They asked if anybody had written and gotten replies, and I know of people that have, and even one girl that's visited him on several occasions.
But I've never gotten a reply myself.

Stumbling into this threat I was thinking it may be a discussion about Kemper, which I would be the first to jump into.
Alas, the onl;y thing ithas going for it is the title: Kemper................

How about:
Let's talk about Kemper and his crimes. He is a fascinating case, I can't be the only one thinking so. Let us dfiscuss him, shooting his grandparents, seeing a rehabilitation person (don't remember the english word) while having a corpse in the trunk, having ihm rape his mother's cadaver and her friend's.

That would be a psychiatrist. Yeah, Kemper; what always gets me about this case is how all the documentaries and
articles make a point of overselling what a domineering mother he had, how she was a tyrant, etc etc. And in the next breath they will point out he fucking murdered his grandparents when he lived with them! I'm not sure but one of them, the grandfather or the grandmother WAS his mothers mother or father, don't you think there might be a little resentment by the mother? Why in gods name did they let him out of Atascadero, he only did a year or two, for murdering two family members? I'm no psychiatrist but never mind the Mcdonald triad, this heres your warning sign your kid is seriously fucked up: He kills his grandparents at the ripe old age of 15.
Kemper's one of the few killers that really seems to be honest regarding his motives. |

Kemper's one of the few killers that really seems to be honest regarding his motives.
First off, Kemper killed his paternal grandparents, not his mother's parents.
Secondly, Kemper was already being mentally abused long before he found his way to his grandparent's home. As weird as he was, and the way he was acting-out, he must have been. Clarnell had her own quirks, and some say she was definitely mentally ill. Any mother who locks her son in a basement at night, telling him he'll rape his sister if she doesn't, has got to have some kind of issues going-on. She was a resourceful woman, had she truly thought he was a danger, she could have gotten him some real help.
Also remember that the doctors didn't want Kemper going back to his mother because they feared she'd start pushing his buttons again. I think it's also an important note to keep in mind that Kemper left her, she didn't send him away. He originally ran away from Clarnell, then ended-up with his father's parents.
I think part of the reason she wanted custody of him upon his release was so that she could resume the abuse, flogging him incessantly over the murder of his grandparents. I think Clarnell Kemper was probably a colossal, man-hating bitch who took her frustrations out on her son and drove him over the edge with her constant refrains and belittling words.
